I'm really liking Wicked, haha.
I actually *finished* a fic! Okay, it's part RENT and part Wicked. See, it's a Wicked songfic, with RENT characters. Hee. April, of course, cos I love her. Pre-RENT, since April's still alive :P It didn't turn out exactly the way I'd planned, but.. well, I'll let y'all judge for yourselves. I just hope I got all the lyrics right!

Take a look at the userinfo to get more detailed information.

P.S. SR if you see this more than once, it's been crossposted.

Creative Writing Class...
I absolutely love my creative writing class. Today we had to experiment with starting short stories in different ways. The first one is Description of a Person, and the second is Reminiscent Narrator.

Charcoal PencilCollapse )

Nature's Work Of ArtCollapse )

I'm thinking of turning them into short stories. One of them I'm going to use for class since we have to write a short story. We don't have to use them. But I really like both of them. So let me know what you both think? Or any ideas in the ways of where I should take them? Or just if you think they suck hah.

The way it is
Hi everybody I'm back. i hope everybody was commenting for one another while I was gone. It kind of sucked that Ellen and I were both gone at the same time. Oh well. Here's something I wrote. I guess it would be like a mini memoir. Or a piece of one at least. Comments and criticism would be appreciated. :)

~The way it is~

Harsh light peeks out from beyond the corner where I find myself searching for escape from the great reeling pictures playing throughout my mind. i lay curled up, hugging my body tight, hoping to squeeze out the images flashing behind my eyes in painful sporadic jolts. My body flinches and shakes at the remembrance of another nightly horror.

Time swallows me and as the moments pass i come to another. As the past drains away from my sweat soaked body I raise a tear strewn face to the figure before me... Blaming and misplaced hostility, directed solely at me... Her yelling pierces right through to my soul and even though ration tells me it is not right, her words further enforce the reoccurring mantra repeating in my head. "You deserve this."

There will be no nurturing tonight. Not at Harmony Heights. Not for many years to come. That's just the way it is.

First Real Post...
Hey. I was just wondering if a few people could check this out to me. It's no where near my greatest work. However, I had to do this assignment for my creative writing class. It was part of an exercise... look at a picture, describe it, then tell what happened before the picture was taken and what would happen afterward. I did my best, so please tell me what you think. It's due Thursday.

In The Dark
Title: In The Dark
Author: Blink-sum-new-muse

Title: Mirrors Can Tell Lies
Band/Pairing: Benji/Joel, yes that would make this a twincest!
Rating: If you can read twincest; I’m sure you can read this.
Summary: Looking into the eyes of your other half... lies, truths, halves. It was only a small mistake, a small lie... don’t you understand; trust is love.
Disclaimer:I wholeheartedly believe that the twins are fucking with their hats off but that doesn't mean this happened... it might happen, but I doubt it.

Reposting the rules because I don't think a lot of the new people were here when I changed them.

[x] Spell check is your friend
[x] Use correct grammar
[x] Any kind of fanfiction is allowed, as well as some fiction
[x] No bashing other members, telling them that their writing sucks. If this happens, you will be warned once, and if it happens again you'll be banned. Constructive critiscm is always welcome, but don't take it any further than that.
[x] If you have a fanfiction or fiction website that you would like on the userinfo page, please include the URL in your first post.
[x] When posting something - anything at all - you must comment and leave a review on any two posts below your own. This will keep the community from going dead, and will prevent some people from getting 15 reviews, while others get none at all.

So yes. Now does everyone understand why I've been hesitant on starting my workload?

I'll try to start soon.

I wrote this about... Maybe a week ago, and I thought I'd share it here. :) It's dark though.

Bloodied corpse cries scarlet tears,
From wounds left from eleven years.
Bloodied corpse has nothing left
The choice was hers, it was life or death.
The porcelain skin looks ghostly now,
Face streaked with tears she wouldn’t allow.
Skin scraped, soul bruised, a perfect mask,
She’s finally completed her final task.
Shirt clings to skin, barely covering bones,
Around her wrists the scarring roams.
Soul tainted with evil, flesh crawling with sin,
She replaced the pain so it’s all on her skin.
No more will the walls hear her cry in the night,
All gone from her is the sorrow and fright.
The thing killing her she has finally killed
With two cuts and a rope, gasoline and 12 pills.
A bloodied corpse is all there is left,
When it came to the choice, she knew it was death.
The shell is still there but the girl is long gone,
What they never knew was that she was a corpse all along.
